Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Touching Lives Welfare Trust ("Touching Lives", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use and protect it.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to share it with us, for example, when you write to us by email, fill a volunteer or visit registration form, make a donation, or subscribe to our newsletter. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and, for donations, the details required to issue receipts and 80G tax-exemption certificates (such as your PAN, as required by Indian law).

2. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiries, process donations and issue receipts, coordinate volunteering and visits, and share updates about our work if you have opted in. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

3. Donations and payment information

Online donations are processed by a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, bank or UPI details on our website or servers. Payment information is handled directly by the payment gateway under its own security standards and privacy policy.

4. Children's privacy

Our work centers on children, and their dignity and safety come first. Photographs and stories of children on this website are shared with appropriate consent, and names or details are changed where needed to protect identity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

5. Third-party content and links

This website embeds content from third parties, such as YouTube videos and Google Maps, and links to external platforms including Instagram, YouTube and Google Forms. When you interact with such content, those services may collect data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use basic cookies or analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

7. Data security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, donation records under Indian tax regulations).

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask to stop receiving communications from us at any time, by writing to ankit@touchonelife.org.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date of last update shown above.
