Independent Learners + Care

Our flagship project: activity-based supplementary education, mental well-being support and art for children living in slum communities in Mumbai, and for youth across India living in vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds.

The Learning Journey

A program for every stage, ages 6–23

Students are grouped by age and comprehension level, each track led by a trained mentor. Children attend sessions five days a week (hybrid mode), plus group therapy, counselling, school-study support and workshops.

Program A

Afterschool Learning Program

Guided by our in-house Learning Ecosystem Model, an integrative, regenerative and healing-centered learning framework, the program combines storytelling, group reflection, play, mindfulness, creative expression and personalized support. Children also learn through the knowledge, experiences and opportunities contributed by volunteers, mentors, professionals and partner organizations.

Care Program: Mental Health & Healing

Emotional well-being is not an add-on; it is the foundation. The Care Program brings therapeutic support into every child's journey, because healing personal fears and traumas is what makes lasting learning possible.

Mothers' Healing Circle

When mothers heal, families transform. Monthly therapeutic workshops give women from our communities a safe space of their own, often the first one they have ever had.

Dream & Youth Development Program

For our youth, support continues along two paths, the Dream Project and the Youth Development Program (YDP), an opportunity-building and far-reaching initiative supporting young people aged 16 to 25 from humble backgrounds across India, with limited access to education, opportunities and support.
